Welcome to Plainform, a product owned and operated by Streamlined Solutions SRL ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the plainform.dev website, the Plainform starter kit, and any digital products, services, or materials sold through the site (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or purchasing from Plainform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use our website or purchase our products.

Plainform is the brand and software product operated by Streamlined Solutions SRL.

Definitions

• "Plainform" refers to the SaaS starter kit, website, documentation, and related digital materials provided through plainform.dev.
• "Customer", "User", "You" refers to the individual or entity accessing or purchasing Plainform.
• "Digital Product" refers to downloadable or online-access products such as codebases, templates, and starter kits.
• "License" refers to the rights granted to you to use the digital product.

Eligibility

You must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Agree to comply with these Terms

By using Plainform, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

Digital Product Description

Plainform provides:

• A Next.js starter kit (boilerplate)
• Code templates, components, and documentation
• Lifetime updates (as specified at purchase)
• License to use the codebase subject to limitations below

We may update or modify the product at any time.

License & Permitted Use

When you purchase Plainform, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, lifetime license to:

• Use the code in unlimited personal or commercial projects
• Modify, extend, and build upon the code
• Use it for SaaS, micro-SaaS, internal tools, or client projects

Prohibited Use

You may NOT:

• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the product as-is
• Share access or distribute the source code publicly
• Create competing boilerplates or starter kits based on Plainform's codebase
• Claim that you wrote the original code

Violating these restrictions may result in license termination.

GitHub Integration & Access

GitHub Username Requirement

When you purchase Plainform, you must provide a valid GitHub username during checkout. This is required for product delivery, as access is granted through GitHub collaborator invitations to our private repository.

Repository Access Process

1. Checkout: Provide your GitHub username (validated via GitHub API)
2. Invitation: Receive collaborator invitation within 24 hours of payment
3. Acceptance: Accept invitation within 7 days to maintain access
4. Access: Clone or download the codebase once accepted

Your Responsibilities

• Provide a valid, active GitHub username
• Maintain access to your GitHub account
• Accept the invitation within 7 days
• Notify us at hello@plainform.dev if your username changes

Invalid Username Handling

If your GitHub username is invalid:

• We'll contact you within 24 hours
• You have 14 days to provide a corrected username
• Failure to provide a valid username may result in access revocation without refund

You may change your GitHub username once per purchase by contacting hello@plainform.dev.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, branding, and code in Plainform are the intellectual property of Streamlined Solutions SRL.

Purchasing a license does NOT transfer ownership; it only grants usage rights as outlined above.

Payment & Pricing

Payment Processor

All payments are processed exclusively through Stripe, a PCI DSS compliant payment processor.
We do not store or have access to your full payment information.

Payment Processing

• Standard transactions (under $500): Payment captured immediately
• High-value transactions ($500+): Manual capture within 7 days for fraud prevention
• Fulfillment: Automated via Stripe webhook (checkout.session.completed event)

Pricing

All prices:

• Are listed in USD unless stated otherwise
• May change at any time without prior notice
• Are final at the time of purchase

Applicable VAT or sales tax is collected automatically based on your billing address (via Stripe Tax).

Refund Policy

Because Plainform is a digital, instantly accessible product, all sales are final. Refunds are only granted when required by applicable consumer protection laws.

Accounts & Access

Some versions of the product may require account creation or email verification.
You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
• Preventing unauthorized access
• Ensuring accurate account information

We may suspend accounts suspected of misuse.

Product Updates

Purchases include lifetime updates, meaning:

• Access to new versions
• Bug fixes
• Improvements
• Additional features (when included in the current tier)

We are not obligated to update the product at specific intervals.

Plainform offers email-based support via hello@plainform.dev

Support includes:

• Bug fixes
• Setup guidance
• Basic integration help

Support does not include:

• Custom development
• Building your SaaS for you
• Extended consulting or coding

Third-Party Services

Plainform depends on the following third-party services:

• We are not responsible for third-party service issues, outages, or changes
• You must comply with each service's terms and privacy policies
• Service availability may be affected by third-party disruptions

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Plainform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee that the product is error-free or suitable for your specific use case
• We are not liable for any damages resulting from:
  • Loss of revenue
  • Business interruption
  • Data loss
  • Code misuse
  • Third-party service issues

Your use of the product is at your own risk.

Disclaimer

Plainform is a developer tool, not a complete SaaS platform. You are responsible for:

• Your final product
• Infrastructure setup
• Security of your deployed applications
• Compliance with laws applicable to your business

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Redistribute or resell the product
• Abuse support or engage in fraudulent behavior

Upon termination, your license is revoked and you must discontinue use of the product.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania and applicable EU regulations.

Any disputes will be handled in Romanian courts.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements.

Material changes will be communicated via email. The updated version becomes effective upon posting on plainform.dev.

Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
